Statendam and Westerdam Kick Off Winter Cruise Season in San Diego | Family vacation.

On September 29, officers from Statendam and Westerdam attended a ceremony in San Diego as the city marked the beginning of the winter cruise season. Statendam 2nd Officer Dirk van Aarsen and Westerdam SEH Officer David Bass were welcomed to the city by Port Commissioner Bob Nelson along with representatives from the Sapphire Princess. Nelson thanked the ships’ officers and presented them with a Tiffany compass so they “can find their way back to San Diego.”
